Throughout his career, Bob has been instrumental in helping business owners reimagine their approach to risk, transforming traditional insurance spend into powerful tools for protection, profit, and long-term success.
As Managing Director of VNAS, Bob oversees a team of professionals who deliver full-service captive management, coordinating legal, actuarial, accounting, tax, and claims services, while ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements in key domiciles including Utah, Tennessee, Kentucky, and the British Virgin Islands. His meticulous approach to oversight and provider management gives clients confidence that every aspect of their captive is strategically aligned and expertly executed.
Bob’s expertise lies in identifying bespoke solutions that allow clients to address uncovered exposures, reduce commercial and healthcare costs, and recapture value from external programs such as warranties. Whether serving automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail and consumer facing clients, Bob brings deep knowledge and a hands-on style that ensures risk is not only mitigated, but used as a driver for business advantage.

She began her career at JCDecaux, one of the world’s leading outdoor advertising firms, where she supported the management and expansion of major accounts including Warner Brothers, Mercedes-Benz, and Coca-Cola.
With a strong foundation in client servicing and commercial development, Alana transitioned into the legal sector, joining the world’s leading global shipping law firm. There, she managed high-value relationships with many of the London insurance market’s key players, worked alongside international P&I Clubs, and oversaw the operations of a shipping correspondent business.
After more than a decade in maritime law, Alana joined U.S. law firm Squire Patton Boggs, where she led client engagement initiatives and internal growth programs, enhancing both the client experience and professional development across the business.
Alana’s professional strengths are grounded not only in strategic thinking and operational oversight but also in communication. With a passion for writing and a background in journalism, she previously held editorial internships and weekend roles at The Sunday Telegraph, experiences that sharpened her ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate value clearly to a broad range of stakeholders.
Now consulting in the insurance space, Alana supports VNAS in navigating complex risk environments, helping them structure strategies that align business operations with long-term profitability.
She has a particular interest in global economics, is an avid tennis player, loves to ski and enjoys discovering new cultures through travel.

Chris Goeke serves as Director of Accounting at VNAS, bringing over 35 years of experience in accounting and financial management across multiple industries, including wholesale distribution and captive insurance.
Chris graduated from Miami University with a degree in Finance and Management. For more than two decades, he held leadership roles in the wholesale auto parts industry, including Purchasing Manager, Assistant Controller, and Controller, overseeing financial operations for a business with over 70 locations and $200 million in revenue. The firsthand experience working inside operating companies gives Chris a unique perspective on how captives can support, strengthen, and transform traditional business models, he understands exactly where and how a captive can drive value as at the time he was there, the company was one of the first VNAS captive clients.
For the past seven years, Chris has focused exclusively on captive insurance. Chris's transition to VNAS was a natural move, bringing his financial expertise and operational continuity with him.
At VNAS, Chris oversees the financial operations of client captives, ensuring accurate reporting, audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and strong reserve management, across multiple domiciles. Hie methodical, detail-driven approach is backed by decades of practical experience, making him a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues.
With a rare combination of corporate financial leadership and specialized captive expertise, Chris brings stability, insight, and integrity to every engagement.

Brad is responsible for ensuring that all client captives adhere to the domicile specific regulatory requirements, maintaining alignment with evolving industry standards. His work includes financial coordination, cash flow, oversight, banking relationships, and ensuring that all captives under VNAS management are operating with fiscal integrity and transparency.
In addition to his role in the insurance sector, Brad brings a unique entrepreneurial perspective to VNAS. For over a decade, he has independently managed the growth, development, and on-going operations of a thoroughbred equine breeding and racing farm. Touching every aspect of a fledgling business in such a diverse, hard work driven industry has given Brad the skills to maintain strong professional relationships with clients and providers from a wide range of industries and backgrounds.
Brad's dual experience in financial compliance and the high stakes world of thoroughbred racing has shaped his sharp instincts for risk, reward, and operational precision. At VNAS, he combines his knowledge of regulatory frameworks with real-world business ownership to help clients build well-structured captives that are both compliant and strategically sound.

Her professional journey began in the hospitality sector, where she managed multiple high-profile establishments across Chicago and Jupiter, Florida. She later transitioned to the health and wellness industry, leading client engagement and growth for Orangetheory Fitness studios in Jupiter. A certified personal trainer, Allie thrives when working one-on-one with clients to help them reach their goals, an approach that continues to define her professional ethos.
Before joining VNAS, Allie served as the head of business development and operations for a regional facilities service business, where she successfully managed a large client base. Her hands-on approach, attention to detail, and strong communication skills made her a trusted partner to both clients and teams.
Now at VNAS, Allie applies her client-first mindset to the world of captive insurance - supporting businesses as they navigate alternative risk solutions and contributing to VNAS’s mission of delivering tailored, sustainable strategies that drive long-term success.
